General Information

EBC.1 - Entertainment and Business Channel - is a 24-hour general entertainment television channel. Broadcasting started on the 1st of January 2006. To reach almost every addressed viewer it was decided to broadcast over Eutelsat Hotbird 6 - 13 C East in digital quality. The frequency of EBC.1 is 11.200 MHz vertical with a symbol rate of 27.500 and a FEC of 5/6. The footprint of Hotbird 6 covers the entire European continent, North Africa, Asia and the whole Middle East region.
